Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role requires a passion for food, excellent food handling skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a key member of our kitchen staff, the Line Cook will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
  • Ensure all food is cooked safely and meets health regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station
  • Follow proper food handling procedures at all times
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy hours
  • Stock and restock ingredients and supplies as needed
  • Adhere to sanitation standards and safety guidelines

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
  • Strong understanding of food safety protocols and proper food handling practices
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
  • Passion for the food industry and a desire to grow culinary skills
