**Full Job Description**

The Line Cook is responsible for the daily execution of the culinary program, including the preparation of ingredients for food, and execution of food service.

The Line Cook is expected to prepare all food for the customers as per the the standards while maintaining standards of health and safety.

The Line Cook is expected to be responsible for Maintaining kitchen cleanliness, using provided cleaning schedules and tools, in order to maintain safe work.

Must comply with food safety practices, by labelling and dating of product, proper food storage practices, and proper product rotation, and reports all safety concerns to management to ensure guest health and safety.

**What you need**:
Food Safety Certification

Experience as a Line cook in a high volume restaurant environment 2-3 years

Good knowledge of French Cuisine is an asset.

A diploma in Culinary Arts is an asset.

Good knowledge of cooking techniques

Good knowledge of workplace health and safety

Good knowledge of knife skills and safety

Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Must be 8 years of age or older

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (required)
