Smitty’s is one of Canada’s largest all-day family restaurant chains, operating from coast to coast. Almost all our restaurants are fully licensed, and a majority have separate lounges to accommodate teams, sports fans, and the happy hour crowd.

Our Smitty's Regent Location (1512 Regent Avenue) is always looking for experienced **Line Cooks** and talented individuals.
- **Line Cooks - duties include**:

- Prep, portion, and stock food items and other necessary supplies
- Prepare specified food in a timely manner using safe food handling methods
- Cook food items by grilling, frying, and sautéing to prescribed recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements
- Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs
- **Requirements**:

- Must be available to work a evenings, nights and weekends.**
- Must have valid food handler’s certification
- Minimum of 2 years working as a line cook required
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work well in a team environment

**Salary**: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week

**Benefits**:

- Evening shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Line Cook: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
