Job Description Summary
Reporting to the VP Sales, the Senior Relationship Manager will be responsible for developing payment solutions and new loan volume for the company by solicitation of new insurance broking clients. Retain and expand existing client's loan volume. Educate brokers on our services, procedures and training platforms. Promote company at insurance industry functions.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain strong/profitable relationships with insurance brokers (clients) within assigned territory in order to exceed sales targets.
- Maintain regular contact with clients by representing FIRST in a professional manner through office visitations, presentations, functions, conferences, phone calls and written correspondence.
- Provide valuable assistance to clients by analyzing their needs, identifying problems and providing solutions in order to retain and expand their loan volume.
- Educate assigned brokers on FIRST services, credit policies and training platforms while working closely with assigned underwriting team to increase quality of business, approval and funding ratios.
- Build internal working relationships with FIRST staff and provide assistance to Inside Sales, Marketing, Credit, Operations and Collection personnel as needed.
- Use creativity and good judgment to provide the client with the best possible terms/program while minimizing the risk and maximizing returns to FIRST.
- Analyze production reports to evaluate monthly loan volume, identify challenges, and target brokers for increased sales opportunities.
- Be a strong advocate for assigned brokers, ensuring that opportunities and issues are brought forward to management.
- Monitor local insurance trends and competitive developments and report to management as needed.
- Promote other finance products/solutions and services by providing training/development opportunities for clients and attending client and trade functions.
- Share best practices and product/process improvement ideas with peers and other segments of the business.
- Establish and maintain contact management system and communicate weekly/monthly activity to management as directed.
- Prepare reports, business plans, and business cases as required.
- Ensure expenses are kept up to date; within budget, policy and value maximization is attained for all expenditures.
- Other job related duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required
- Insurance Carrier experience is an asset
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Minimum three years sales experience is desirable
- Ability to travel up to 70% in assigned territory by vehicle and/or airline.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to attend insurance related functions during or after normal work hours
- Experience in providing training to brokers on system platforms
- Ability to interpret financial data
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel) a plus
Training/Education/Experience Qualifications
- University/college degree is generally preferred
- 3 years sales experience
- Experience with a premium finance and/or specialist finance company preferred
- Insurance industry sales experience preferred+-

Résumé du poste
Relevant du VP des ventes, le Directeur des relations clients, sera responsable de développer des solutions de paiement et de nouveaux volumes de prêts pour l'entreprise en sollicitant de nouveaux clients courtiers en assurance. Retenir et augmenter le volume de prêts des clients existants. Éduquer les courtiers sur nos services, procédures et plateformes de formation. Promouvoir l'entreprise lors des fonctions de l'industrie de l'assurance.
Ce que vous ferez
- Développer et maintenir des relations solides/profitables avec les courtiers en assurance (clients) dans le territoire assigné afin de dépasser les objectifs de vente.
- Maintenir un contact régulier avec les clients en représentant FIRST de manière professionnelle lors de visites de bureau, présentations, fonctions, conférences, appels téléphoniques et correspondance écrite.
- Fournir une assistance précieuse aux clients en analysant leurs besoins, en identifiant les problèmes et en fournissant des solutions afin de retenir et d'augmenter leur volume de prêts.
- Éduquer les courtiers assignés sur les services de FIRST, les politiques de crédit et les plateformes de formation tout en travaillant en étroite collaboration avec l'équipe de souscription assignée pour augmenter la qualité des affaires, les ratios d'approbation et de financement.
- Construire des relations de travail internes avec le personnel de FIRST et fournir une assistance aux ventes internes, au marketing, au crédit, aux opérations et au personnel de recouvrement au besoin.
- Utiliser la créativité et le bon jugement pour fournir au client les meilleurs termes/programmes possible tout en minimisant les risques et en maximisant les retours pour FIRST.
- Analyser les rapports de production pour évaluer le volume de prêts mensuel, identifier les défis et cibler les courtiers pour augmenter les opportunités de vente.
- Être un fervent défenseur des courtiers assignés, en veillant à ce que les opportunités et les problèmes soient portés à l'attention de la direction.
- Surveiller les tendances locales en matière d'assurance et les développements concurrentiels et en faire rapport à la direction au besoin.
- Promouvoir d'autres produits/solutions et services financiers en offrant des opportunités de formation/développement aux clients et en assistant aux fonctions des clients et des salons professionnels.
- Partager les meilleures pratiques et les idées d'amélioration des produits/processus avec les pairs et les autres segments de l'entreprise.
- Établir et maintenir un système de gestion des contacts et communiquer l'activité hebdomadaire/mensuelle à la direction selon les directives.
- Préparer des rapports, des plans d'affaires et des études de cas selon les besoins.
- S'assurer que les dépenses sont à jour ; dans les limites du budget, de la politique et que la maximisation de la valeur est atteinte pour toutes les dépenses.

Connaissances/Compétences/Capacités requises
- L'expérience avec un transporteur d'assurance est un atout.
- Solides compétences organisationnelles et en gestion du temps.
- Un minimum de trois ans d'expérience en vente est souhaitable.
- Capacité à voyager jusqu'à 70 % dans le territoire assigné par véhicule et/ou avion.
- Excellentes compétences en communication verbale et écrite.
- Capacité à assister à des fonctions liées à l'assurance pendant ou après les heures normales de travail.
- Expérience dans la formation des courtiers sur les plateformes de systèmes.
- Capacité à interpréter les données financières.
- La connaissance de Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint et Excel) est un plus.
Qualifications En Formation/éducation/expérience
- Un diplôme universitaire/collège est généralement préféré.
- 3 ans d'expérience en vente.
- Expérience avec une société de financement de primes et/ou de financement spécialisé préféré.
- Expérience en vente dans l'industrie de l'assurance préférée.
