Role Details:
Reporting to the Stores Manager, you'll oversee the maintenance inventory to support operational continuity. This role combines hands-on inventory management with data accuracy and stakeholder engagement. This is a fulltime, permanent position on day shift.
- Oversee end-to-end inventory processes, including Material Mastering and MRP replenishment.
- Maintain accurate records in SAP and IFS systems.
- Expedite spares, manage stocktakes, and ensure timely parts availability.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers for quotes, purchasing, and delivery.
- Support site shutdown planning and respond to urgent breakdown requirements.
- Occasionally operate a forklift (training provided if required).
What You Will Bring:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical parts.
- SAP experience highly advantageous
- Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong computer skills (Excel, SAP) and attention to detail.
- Experience in heavy manufacturing, IFS systems, and mechanical experience desirable.
