Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative support and finance-related tasks, with proficiency in various software applications. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with bookkeeping, and providing excellent customer service to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining financial records using QuickBooks and other accounting software
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Manage filing systems to ensure all documents are organized and easily accessible
  • Provide clerical support, including typing, proofreading, and handling correspondence
  • Answer multi-line phone systems, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while addressing customer inquiries
  • Support front desk operations by greeting visitors and managing appointments
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth administrative processes within the office
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for document creation and management
  • Assist with bookkeeping tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with financial policies

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an office environment with administrative responsibilities
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is preferred
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and proofreading
  • Prior experience in customer service or customer support roles is highly desirable
  • Experience in a medical or dental office setting is a plus, particularly as a dental receptionist or similar role
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
