Position Summary

We're looking for a Senior Drafting Designer/Technician who thrives in a fast-moving environment and enjoys turning design concepts into clear, accurate, permit-ready drawings. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a small but growing company where your work will shape projects and processes directly.

Key Responsibilities

· Produce high-quality architectural drawings and layouts for commercial tenant improvement projects.

· Prepare complete permit submission packages that meet municipal requirements.

· Work directly with clients, contractors, and consultants to clarify details and solve design challenges.

· Conduct site measurements and create accurate as-built drawings.

· Incorporate design revisions efficiently and maintain organized project files.

· Lead design coordination and quality control, supporting junior drafters in producing accurate and compliant drawings.

· Contribute ideas to streamline workflows and improve project delivery.

Qualifications

· Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Drafting, or related field.

· 2+ years of relevant drafting experience, ideally in commercial TI or small-scale commercial projects.

· Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit is a plus).

· Experience working with Bluebeam and/or Procure is an asset, but not required.

· Good understanding of local building codes and permitting processes.

· A self-starter who takes ownership and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

· Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple projects with confidence.

Compensation & Benefits

· Salary range: $60,000 - $70,000
