We are hiring for the position of
Experienced Civil or Structural Designer/Drafter
for our client's Vancouver, Canada office.

About this Position:
The ideal candidate will have a
Diploma or Certificate in Computer Aided Design Technology
from an accredited college or university (or equivalent training), along with
a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
. The candidate must be detail-oriented and proficient in
Autodesk AutoCAD (2D/3D)
,
Civil 3D
, and capable of completing complex CAD assignments with minimal supervision. A solid working knowledge of
Revit
is also required.
Responsibilities may include:
- Preparing civil and structural design layouts
- Developing detailed 2D and 3D engineering drawings using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Revit
- Revising designs based on feedback from engineers or clients while maintaining project timelines
- Performing modeling related to earthworks, dams, pipelines, road alignments, and building excavations
- Communicating effectively and working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
Qualifications and Compensation:
Preference will be given to individuals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, in addition to strong technical competence.
The estimated base pay range for this position is
$65,000 to $95,000 CAD
, depending on knowledge, experience, and skill level.
Total compensation and benefits include:
- Comprehensive health benefits package
- Employer RRSP contribution
- Eligibility for profit-sharing bonuses and other uplifts
- Additional paid days off and office closure between December 25 and January 1
