Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, hardware, and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be proactive, customer-focused, and capable of resolving issues efficiently while maintaining strong communication with end-users.
You will be required to visit the site only between 16th December and 31st December.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 & Level 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
- Respond to and resolve user inquiries via phone, email, chat, or in-person.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including operating systems, applications, and connectivity problems.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and security settings in Active Directory and other systems.
- Support IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, including incident, problem, and request management via ServiceNow or other ticketing tools.
- Provide support for meeting room audio-visual systems and video conferencing equipment.
- Maintain asset inventory for IT hardware and ensure accurate documentation.
- Assist in network troubleshooting, including LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi connectivity issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards.
- Prepare technical documentation, user guides, and reports as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist, IT Technician, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and system configuration.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Zendesk.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration is a plus.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- CompTIA A+
- ITIL Foundation
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator / Azure Fundamentals
