We are currently seeking a motivated, reliable, and outgoing team player to take on the role of Site Supervisor, for the QEII Hospital campus in downtown Halifax.

**WORK SCHEDULE**:
The successful applicant will have a regular schedule of 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday, with a paid break bonus. Additional hours are required as operations dictate. Participation in manager on duty program (which comes with additional compensation) is required.

Access to reliable transportation is required.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
OPERATIONS:

- Oversee a team of 6+ shift Team Leads, and 15+ CSRs
- Take ownership and leadership of the overall parking operations for the QEII sites, while abiding by the standards and norms of Indigo.
- Oversee the daily operations of all aspects of the parking lots.
- Patrol and inspect the parking area daily to verify that equipment and lighting function properly, that cars circulate without problems, that there is a sufficient quantity of supplies necessary to the proper functioning of the parking lot.
- Completing minor equipment repairs as required, and minimizing any downtime to parking operation.
- Timely collection of monthly parking fees.
- Actively identify and correct any inefficiencies in the parking operation.

ADMINISTRATION:

- Prepare and remit parking statistics and/or reports.
- Count, collect and deposit parking revenues.
- Contracting outside service providers as required (line painting, major equipment repairs, etc).
- Data entry.
- Use of billing software, parking software, and Word Suite.
- Bi-Weekly scheduling of employees (mix of full-time and part-time)
- Approving time sheets
- Assist in recruitment/on-boarding

CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP:

- Build positive relationships with customers and the client.
- Note the nature of complaints received by customers, and actively help develop and suggest solutions.
- Communicate verbally with customers and clients in English.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- High level of interpersonal skills, including poise and diplomacy.
- Good communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to customer service.
- Ability to work with little supervision.
- Ability to work in an outdoor environment.
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools for making repairs.

*$500 signing bonus is paid out as $250 after the third month, and $250 after the sixth month, conditional on a good attendance record.
