This role leads manufacturing teams, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. The Operations Manager collaborates with cross-functional departments to meet customer demands, optimize resources, and maintain a high-performing workforce. **Accountabilities**: - Oversee plant operations, ensuring production targets, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. - Lead and develop production teams to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and maintain equipment effectiveness. - Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence. - Monitor and optimize production schedules, workforce planning, and inventory management. - Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations, fostering a culture of workplace safety. - Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to minimize equipment failures and downtime. - Manage budgets, control costs, and drive initiatives to improve operational profitability. - Support new product launches and engineering changes, ensuring smooth integration into production. - Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify trends, drive corrective actions, and enhance performance. - Partner with quality teams to ensure adherence to ISO/IATF standards and customer-specific requirements. - Drive employee engagement, coaching, and development programs to build a skilled and motivated workforce. **Qualifications**: - Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field preferred. - 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. - Experience in steel processing, blanking, stamping, or metal forming industries preferred. - Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
