Company Introduction: T&T Supermarket Inc. was founded in 1993 with two stores in BC. Since then, it has expanded rapidly and is now Canada’s largest Asian supermarket chain with 37 stores across the country: 14 in BC, 7 in Alberta, 14 in Ontario, and 2 in Quebec. The Company’s continuous expansion is going to bring more new stores in the next couple of years.

The Role: Reporting to the Store Administrator,the Store Promoter is responsible for demonstrating and promoting products to customers with an intention to persuade the consumer to buy the products, executine the Customer Service Strategy and achieving the sales targets.
- Major Responsibilities: Engage the consumer by generating excitement and brand awareness
- Dynamically sell product to the customers by positively greeting,presenting and demonstrating the product with a variety of people
- Achieve assigned sales targets
- Responsible for the organization and coordination of the promoting merchandise
- Set-up, organize and close work area including cleaning and sanitizing,washing and drying dishes and proper storage of equipment
- Adhere to all Food Safety handling and sanitation training and guidelines
- Participate in and adhere to all safety policies training,and practices
- Able to handle customer complaints and establish good and timely communications with the immediate supervisor and the relevant department head
- Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements: Possess good knowledge of Customer Service
- Possess good knowledge of Food Safety
- Sales skills Minimum 1 year of experience in retail, grocery sales, restaurant or food service highly desirable
- Strong verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin and/or Cantonese,French
- Basic cooking skills. able to use products or cook food as appropriate for the demonstration
- Ability to solve problems and to deal with a variety of variables
- Ability to stand comfortably for up to 6 hoursMust be able to work flexible hours and schedules, including weekends/statutory holidays
