Summerhill Market is a boutique grocery store chain in Toronto that specializes in scratch-made prepared foods and on-trend ingredients. Our stores go above and beyond a typical grocery store by offering an extensive rotating selection of ready-to-eat gourmet meals, freshly baked goodies, and curated, hard-to-find groceries.

We are seeking an **Ecommerce Manager** to lead and grow our online retail operations. Based at our flagship store at **446 Summerhill Ave &**Event Boutique **1057 Mount Pleasant Rd**, this is an **on-site role** that blends **data analysis, IT systems management, digital marketing, order fulfillment, and customer service leadership**. The Ecommerce Manager will oversee all aspects of our **Homesome platform** and third-party delivery services such as **UberEats**, ensuring seamless online operations, exceptional customer experiences, and growth in digital sales.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Summerhill Market ecommerce program, including HomeSome and UberEats
- Analyzing sales data, online performance metrics, and consumer insights to optimize conversion, product assortment, and fulfillment efficiency
- Managing digital content including product listings, descriptions, pricing, promotions, and seasonal updates across all online platforms
- Coordinating IT and technical support needs for the ecommerce platform, troubleshooting issues, and implementing improvements
- Collaborating with Marketing to align online branding, promotions, and campaigns with in-store initiatives
- Coordinating order fulfillment, ensuring product accuracy, quality, and timely delivery to customers
- Managing and mentoring the Ecommerce team, including associates responsible for order picking, packing, and customer communication
- Responding to escalated customer inquiries and resolving service issues in a professional and timely manner
- Overseeing logistics coordination between stores, commissary kitchen, and delivery partners to ensure order accuracy and inventory synchronization
- Tracking and reconciling invoices, expenses, and platform fees related to online operations
- Providing regular performance reports and recommendations to senior leadership for continuous improvement and business growth

**Requirements**:

- 3-5 years’ experience in ecommerce, retail operations, or digital marketing management
- Strong analytical and technical skills; comfortable interpreting data and using it to make strategic decisions
- Experience with ecommerce platforms, POS systems, or marketplace integrations (e.g., UberEats, Instacart, Shopify, HomeSome, etc.)
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite; advanced Excel and reporting capabilities preferred
- Solid understanding of digital marketing, UX principles, and SEO best practices
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with a strong focus on teamwork and customer service
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
