As an experienced Estimator working in the Buildings team at Pomerleau Construction, you will support new and ongoing project growth and challenge industry standards with your trade-driven expertise and knowledge. Working on large-scale building and infrastructure projects - ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion - you will work closely with our proposals team and various client groups to secure bids and ensure project success. **What You Will Do**
- Jump in and collaboratively complete the full cycle bid process
- Utilize your research skills at every stage of the process to identify project-specific prices related to key items including labour, equipment and materials.
- With an eye for detail, accurately interpret technical specifications for bid documents;
- Actively complete full quantity take-offs to ensure accuracy of contract specifications and pricing;
- Keep client pricing requirements top-of-mind to ensure feasibility;
- Grow and maintain strong relationships with trade partners, consultants and clients to achieve the project goals and vision;
- Get creative and think outside the box to come up with innovative solutions and opportunities;
- Colour outside the lines and look beyond plans and specifications;
- Actively encourage a learning environment, share your knowledge and be a role model throughout the estimation process with your team;
- Celebrate the successes and be a key member of the project ramp-up process.

**This role could be for you if you have**
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience estimating in the construction industry;
- College diploma in Estimation, Construction or building science;
- A proven track record of project coordination and team collaboration.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills in English Language
- A passion and drive for building relationships
- Advanced Computer skills and Estimating Software experience in MS Project, PlanSwift, Primavera, Bluebeam, Procore & CostX

**Additional Details**:

- Business Address and Work Location: 900 W Hastings, Vancouver, BC, V6C1E5
- Terms of employment: Permanent position based in our Regional Office in BC
- Work Schedule: 40 hours of full-time work per week
- Compensation and Benefits: Salary range offered is between $84,000 - $110,000 and eligibility to participate in company bonus and share ownership program
- Up to 5% RRSP matching after the waiting period
- 4 weeks vacation
- Extended coverage for health medical and dental benefits, paid by the employer
- Annual salary increases of 2-5% based on performance may be available
