**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as needed.
- Prepare food items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are met.
- Cook menu items to order, ensuring timely service during peak hours.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and efficient service.
- Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of shortages.
- Participate in training sessions on food handling and safety procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Week Day Availability
- Can find reliable transportation to work (There is no public transit that goes to the ski hill)
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- A passion for cooking and a willingness to learn new techniques in meal preparation.
