Are you passionate about culinary excellence? Do you have experience working on the line and in prep in a fast-paced kitchen environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you The Industry is seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our team. We are Thunder Bay’s newest hot spot, serving upscale cuisine for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. Since our busiest times are evenings and weekends, we’re looking for a dependable professional who thrives under pressure in a fast-paced, upscale environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and customer specifications
- Ensure that food is cooked in a timely and efficient manner
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Work with other team members to ensure that all orders are completed on time

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Line Cook/Prep Cook in a catering or restaurant environment
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds

**Experience & Certification**
- Minimum 1 year experience in a comparable atmosphere (required)
- Food Handler (required)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.20 per hour
