**Job Summary**:
As a in house service technician you will be responsible for bench testing, refurbishing & repairing a variety of equipment TFI sells to our customers.

**Job Duties**:

- Uncrating and bench testing equipment that is to be field installed.
- Keeping work area clean
- Refurbishing equipment for resale
- Assisting other in shop technicians in prepping show room equipment for demonstrations.
- Assisting in maintaining a clean and orderly shop environment.

**Requirements**:

- Mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance License and experience a plus.
- Narrow aisle/reach lift license an asset
- Ability to comprehend and communicate detailed instructions in English orally and in writing.
- Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
- Knowledge and ability to work on 110v up to and including 220v system and equipment.
- Knowledge of local, provincial and federal workplace compliance regulations, ordinances and legislation.
- Able to create alternative solutions to problems.
- Able to work well under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be smartphone and tablet literate, with the ability to learn and navigate new software quickly;
- Any second language an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Hourly rate between $22 - $25 per hour depending on experience and education.
