Production Worker/shop Helper

We are a well established custom manufacturer of wood veneer sheets and high-end architectural plywood panels, seeking a full-time or part-time production worker. Our shop is located only a few minutes walk from Royal Oak Skytrain station in Burnaby.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain general cleanliness of the shop and machinery
- Assist other operators with all production processes
- Grade and cut wood veneer using Double Knife Guillotines and End Clippers
- Mix adhesive and feed veneer bundles through Glue Applicator
- Count and prepare crates of veneer faces for shipping, or for pressing in house.
- Reinforce edges with veneer tape and repair any splits or cracks
- Flush trim edges of core after pressing using hand router

We provide a clean and easy going working environment where safety is a must.
