**Job Title: Junior Business Analyst - Capital Market**
**Job Location: Montreal, QC (hybrid 3 days onsite in a week)**
**Job Duration: Long Term**

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for new initiatives and system enhancements within the capital markets domain.
- Perform data analysis and validation using SQL queries to support business decisions and project requirements.
- Develop and maintain detailed business and system process flows.
- Assist with the implementation of technology solutions by liaising between business units and IT teams.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and facilitate the resolution of any issues identified.
- Provide ongoing support and training to users on new systems and processes.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes that may impact the business.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services industry, specifically within capital markets.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large datasets.
- Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
- Familiarity with financial instruments and the trade lifecycle.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.

Pay: $50.00-$51.00 per hour
