**Construction Laborer & Grade Checker**
Doblanko Contracting Ltd. - Edmonton, AB & Surrounding Areas

We are looking for a **Construction Laborer & Grade Checker** to join our team for rural construction projects in and around Edmonton. This role requires hands-on labor work and precise grading skills to support road rehabilitation and gravel spreading. Additionally we will be rehabilitating roads in Edmonton and have optional out of town projects.

Training available for various construction equipment including excavators, skidsteers, dozers, packers, mulchers and survey grade GPS equipment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in various construction tasks, including shoulder pulling, gravel road rehabilitation, and material spreading.
- Operating a packer or skidsteer as/if needed.
- Perform grade checking to ensure accurate elevations and slopes.
- Operate and maintain equipment such as graders, excavators, skid steers, or loaders (experience preferred).
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment before operating.
- Keep equipment clean, greased, and in good working condition.
- Provide own transportation to the job site.
- Work Saturdays with optional Sundays as needed (overtime paid additionally).

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in construction labor and grade checking is an asset.
- Ability to read grading plans and use a laser level.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites or to our yard.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 60 per week
