**Positions Available**:

- Labourers
- Pipelayers
- Top Men/Women

**Responsibilities**:
**General labourers**
- Assist in all general labour activities on site including: backfill, pumping water, use of plate tampers and jumping jacks, making sand bags, and general housekeeping
- Ability to shoot grades and establish grades.
- Cut and bevel pipe for ditch crew on installation.
- Properly prep and set up material for installation.
- Record and mark up drawings for as-builts at the end of the project.
- Work in a team environment with attention to safety and productivity
- Report all incidents, near-misses, and damage of equipment to site supervision
- Ability to identify hazards
- Must be dependable and reliable

**Pipelayers**
- Directs activities within the trench to ensure the pipe is laid to the designed vertical and horizontal tolerances using levels or lasers.
- Align and position pipes to prepare them for welding, cementing or sealing with glue.
- Monitors backfill of pipe bedding to ensure proper haunch support.
- Assist in lot servicing and all other duties as required by Foreman.
- Install and repair sanitary and storm water, sewer structures and pipe systems.
- Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture.

**Topman**
- Inspection of materials and piping.
- Oversee installation of piping in the trench.
- Complete checks on grade and alignment.
- Shoot with a rod and level.
- Shoot grade with transit.
- Direct and signal heavy equipment operators.
- Install and repair a variety of water and sewer lines.
- Perform manual and labour-intensive tasks as assigned.
- Direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade.
- Level top surface according to grade and depth specification.
- Load and unload tools, materials and equipment.
- Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 1 year of similar work experience is required
- Applicants must be 18 years of age
- Possess a valid Driver’s License
- Must be in good physical condition
