**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices.
- Cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Assist in the preparation of meals during peak service times to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling and storage of food products.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Participate in training sessions to improve cooking techniques and knowledge of food safety practices.
- Preparing ingredients: Chopping, slicing, dicing, mincing vegetables, fruits, meats, etc.
- Measuring and weighing ingredients accurately.
- Marinating and brining meats and other ingredients.
- Making sauces, dressings, and other accompaniments.
- Grilling, frying, sautéing, baking, and roasting food items.
- Ensuring food is cooked to the correct temperature and doneness.
- Plating dishes according to restaurant standards and presentation guidelines.
- Setting up and stocking their assigned station with necessary ingredients and supplies.
- Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of their work area.
- Cleaning and sanitizing equipment after each use.
- Preparing and cooking orders accurately and efficiently to meet customer demands and deadlines.
- Communicating effectively with other line cooks and the kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow.
- Following recipes and adhering to standardized procedures.
- Assisting with inventory checks and stock rotation.
- Reporting any shortages or discrepancies to the chef or kitchen manager.
- Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Properly handling and storing food to prevent contamination.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay
