With the new 50,000 sf warehouse's putting into use in Mississauga, the company is expanding our business to provide their industry-leading cross-border warehousing and logistics solutions. We are looking for a logistics operator to join our team and grow with us.
The position will need a Minimum 1 Year of Canadian Freight/Logistics Experience, and perforable a second language of Mandarin or Vietnamese.
**Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Make Bookings with steamship lines and carriers;
- Preparing Ocean Export documentation; FCL/LCL, Ocean/Air Imports;
- Prepare Ocean Bills of Lading, Prepare Advice Notes, Manifests;
- Provide rates quotes to the sales department;
- Send pre-alerts to customers;
- Coordinating/Communicating with overseas agents;
- Tracing and coordinating of container receiving;
- Excellent Customer Service
**Knowledge& Skills**
- 1+ year's experience in the warehousing/logistics industry--Truck/Freight Forwarding.
- Proficient in Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint, PDF for document representation.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
**Experience & Education**
- **Logistics experience --Truck: 1 years+**
- University degree or college diploma required.
