**Overview**:
Rose Church is looking for a creative and driven individual to serve as our Event Coordinator through the Canada Summer Jobs program. This role offers a unique opportunity to be a part of the planning and execution of meaningful church events while being developed as a servant leader.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support the planning and execution of events for church-wide gatherings
- Help with logistics such as setup, tear-down, communication, supplies, and schedules
- Work closely with ministry leads to learn how to run effective and impactful events
- Develop systems, templates, and checklists to support future planning
- Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and debriefs
- Receive one-on-one mentorship and leadership training throughout the summer

**Qualifications**:

- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Creative thinker who enjoys helping bring ideas to life
- Comfortable working both independently and in a team setting
- Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to learn
- Passionate about building community and creating excellent experiences
- Must be between the ages of 15-30 (per CSJ requirements)
- Must have access to a laptop
- Must have a current Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check completed (or be willing to obtain them before starting)

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $15.80 per hour

Work Location: In person
