About you and this role - What you would do in this role
Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Path2Zero Senior Talent Mobility & Relocation and Immigration Specialist located in Fort Saskatchewan (AB, CAN).
This role will support relocation efforts for the Path2Zero program, which will create the first net-zero emissions site of its kind in the world*. Learn More:

Responsibilities: Duties, projects, tasks, and activities you would be responsible for in this role.
- Oversee delivery of relocation programs for duration of international assignments, serving as the SME for related moves in support of HR Partners, People Leaders, Assignees, and various HR Solutions disciplines engaged in E2E relocation processes
- Serve as lead specialist for Path2Zero with autonomy to administer programs within global framework provided by the Global Talent Mobility & Relocation (TM&R) Leader and enables two-way dialog with vendors, other regional TM&R Specialists and Process Representatives to drive best-in-class service and Employee Experience
- Develop, deliver, and maintain Relocation and Immigration related training materials for Path2Zero (P2Z) leadership and employee’s
- Participate in P2Z traveler and expat planning meetings and advise on timing and other considerations
- Act as first point-of-contact for Relocation and Immigration related inquiries, identifying and delivering solutions to employees and people leaders through leveraging end to end process documentation, procedures, work instructions, Knowledge Base and Case Management content to resolve inquiries
- Delegate and escalate inquiries as appropriate, but remaining responsible through completion, tracking progress, and provide continuous feedback to requestors on status of their inquiries
- Initiate and facilitate relocation activities such as vendor authorization process, routing relocation documents for appropriate signatures, scheduled assignment end date process, and other assigned relocation activities
- Manage Workday data input (start/end international and domestic assignments, change job information and data integrity/accuracy for permanent transfers and company supported employee moves, manage promotions/job changes for employees while on assignment, employment verification letters, company info for immigration documentation, etc.
- Act as an end-to-end relocation focal point for consultation to HR function, leaders and moving employees, while managing the flow of communication and handoffs between impacted parties.
- Understand and collaborate with the Relocation vendor, including expertise within the vendor’s IT systems.
- Engage as the liaison between the client and vendor regarding authorizations, pre-decision counselling, and cost estimate requests.
- Provide administrative support for Immigration and Relocation related activities
- Assistance in initiating immigration support for Dow Business Travelers
- Facilitate project meetings with vendors to discuss current/upcoming cases, and ensure global processes are consistently applied

Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking.
- A minimum of 4 years relevant experience in Human Resources is required.
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a Relocation and/or Immigration related position.
- English language - speaking, writing, and reading at an advanced/fluent level. Most meetings in the Relocation area of this role are conducted in English so this requires comfort and ability to express opinions/effectively participate.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in other HR disciplines.
