The Client Solutions Centre within Sun Life Canada represents one of the fastest growing and most profitable areas in the Canadian operation. As part of this team, you will be supporting the team that successfully offers group members who are leaving their employers the choice to keep their assets and benefits with Sun Life Financial at reduced fees and discounted rates.
Your accountabilities will also include documenting and updating all processes and Client Solutions Centre licensing material to ensure that CSC licensing procedures are applied consistently across our multi-site environment. Additionally, you will participate in CSC initiatives that relate to licensing requirements and improvements in the Client Solutions Centre and provide recommendations for continuous improvement of licensing business processes and tools.
You should be very detail-oriented with a focus on always meeting timelines associated with deliverables. You should demonstrate a strong customer focus orientation. You should have strong verbal and written skills and can work independently in addition to demonstrating any ability to be effective in group situations. You need to have an ability to influence and build strong relationships with your business partners.
**Main Accountabilities**:
- Maintain a system that ensures current and accurate files at all times for all licensed staff in the Client Solutions Centre, including licensing, errors and omissions insurance and CE credit information.
- Correspond and partner with Client Solutions Centre staff and management, CS Compliance partners and regulators to handle and resolve all licensing-related inquiries in a timely and effective manner.
- Act as the Client Solutions Centre’s licensing Subject Matter Expert (SME). Support Client Solutions Centre initiatives focused on implementing requirements and process improvements related to licensing as well as any efforts that are focused on building and delivering continuing education curriculum. Identify and document process improvement opportunities to improve licensing administration in the CSC and maintain accurate procedure notes associated with all licensing processes.
- Communicate regularly with insurance regulators and CS Compliance to stay up to date on all licensing requirements across Canada. Work effectively with internal partners, including Human Resources, Permis Quebec and Contracting and Licensing to share best practices and coordinate internal processes as much as possible.
- Maintain all Client Solutions Centre knowledge tools with accurate information related to licensing.a

**Assets**:
- Bilingualism (for Montreal only)
- Experience administrating licensing procedures and dealing with insurance regulators
