**Overview**

**Duties**
- Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and dirt to various job sites.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of hours worked, materials transported, and any incidents that occur during transport.
- Communicate effectively with site managers and team members regarding delivery schedules and site conditions.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving on public roads and job sites.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed, ensuring proper weight distribution for safe transport.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks on the truck, including checking fluid levels and tire pressure.

**Skills**
- Proficient in heavy equipment operation, particularly dump trucks.
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair principles for basic maintenance tasks.
- Valid class 3 with Air driving license with a clean driving record past 5 years.
- Experience in freight transportation is preferred.
- Familiarity with with Dump Truck operations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in all tasks performed.

Pay: $27.00-$31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 55 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- On call
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
