**Dump Truck Driver -**_**Full-Time Position**_
Key Responsibilities
- **Material Transportation**: Operate commercial dump trucks to transport construction materials including aggregate, sand, gravel, and soil to various project locations
- **Vehicle Safety & Compliance**: Conduct comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure regulatory compliance and optimal safety standards
- **Documentation & Record Keeping**: Maintain detailed and accurate logs documenting work hours, material quantities transported, delivery locations, and any operational incidents
- **Communication & Coordination**: Collaborate effectively with site supervisors, project managers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and address site-specific requirements
- **Regulatory Compliance**: Strictly adhere to all federal, provincial, and municipal traffic regulations, as well as company safety protocols during road and site operations
- **Loading Operations**: Assist with material loading and unloading procedures, ensuring proper weight distribution and load securement for safe transportation
- **Preventive Maintenance**: Perform routine maintenance checks including fluid level monitoring, tire pressure verification, and basic mechanical assessments
**Required Qualifications**:
- Valid Class 3 Commercial Driver's License with Air Brake Endorsement
- Clean driving record for the past five (5) years
- Three (3) year insurance experience letter
**Experience Requirements**:
- Minimum five (5) years of demonstrated dump truck operation experience
- Previous experience in freight transportation (preferred)
- Proven track record in heavy equipment operation
**Technical Competencies**
- Comprehensive knowledge of dump truck operations and safety protocols
- Understanding of automotive repair principles for basic maintenance procedures
- Proficiency in equipment inspection and troubleshooting

Employment Details
**Position Type**: Full-Time, Permanent
**Compensation**: $27.00 - $31.00 per hour
**Expected Hours**: 40-60 hours per week (must be willing to work Saturdays if and when needed.
**Start Date**: Immediate
**Additional Compensation**
- Overtime premium rates for hours exceeding standard work week
- Vehicle allowance if required
**Work Schedule**
- Primary: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday
- **Additional availability required for**:
- Day, morning, and evening shifts
- Weekend assignments as operational needs dictate
- On-call responsibilities
- Overtime opportunities
