**Summary**

We are seeking a dedicated Safety Officer to join our team at ÉDIFICE CONSTRUCTION Inc. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and compliance of our construction sites. The Safety Officer will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering high-quality projects while maintaining the highest safety standards.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures for construction sites.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Provide training and support to staff on safety practices and protocols.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, documenting findings and recommending improvements.
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety into project planning and execution.
- Maintain records of safety training, incidents, and inspections for reporting purposes.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to construction safety.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Safety Officer or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to construction.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze data and prepare reports on safety performance.
- Familiarity with construction management software is an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.00-$42.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
