**Who are we**:
EMT Safety Planners is a British Columbia based company that promotes public safety by providing top-quality, site-specific fire safety plans, construction fire safety plans, and fire safety education as per the National and Provincial Fire Codes and Municipal Fire Bylaws.

**Responsibilities**
- Communicating with team members, building industry professionals, and local Fire Departments / Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
- MUST be Detailed-oriented and extremely organized.
- Multitask, multitask, multitask
- Gathering accurate information relating to Fire Safety Equipment and Fire Code issues, which will require on-site visits.
- Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Preparing fire safety plans, based on individual Municipal Fire Department guidelines and bylaws.
- Able to navigate individual municipal guidelines and bylaws for fire and construction safety plans.
- Must effectively manage projects and know how to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Delivery and installation of Fire Safety Plans and wall plaques (when required)
- Build and maintain working relationships.
- Assisting the team with general administrative tasks and other duties as required.

**Qualifications**
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office
- Ability to build relationships with team members and customers/clients.
- Knowledge of the BC Fire Code and Building Code is considered an asset but not required.
- Previous Fire Safety Planning will be considered an asset, but not required.
- Valid BC Driver’s License and access to a vehicle to conduct site walkthroughs and deliveries/installations.
- Physically able to conduct site visits, climb many stairs, and ladders.

**Compensation**

This exciting career opportunity offers a competitive salary range (based on experience) between $50,000 - $60,000 in addition to an attractive benefits package including Extended Health & Dental, and more.
