As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and experienced Freelance Catering Manager to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to showcase your catering management skills at high-profile events such as the RBC Canadian Open (May 27-June 2), the National Bank Open (August 4-12) and more

As a Freelance Catering Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating, and executing catering services at major events. Your role will involve collaborating with clients, overseeing food preparation, managing staff, and ensuring seamless execution of catering operations. We are looking for a self-motivated and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their catering requirements and preferences.
- Work closely with culinary teams to ensure the highest quality of food presentation and taste.
- Liaison with inventory, beverage and kitchen teams to ensure stock all locations are stocked and ready for service
- Assist with training, and managing catering staff for each location
- Provide clear guidance and supervision to ensure a cohesive and high-performing team
- Proactively address client feedback and ensure customer satisfaction.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Catering Manager or similar role, preferably in the events industry.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creativity and passion for delivering outstanding culinary experiences.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate event schedules.

**Job Types**: Fixed term contract, Casual, Seasonal
Contract length: 1 week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Every Weekend
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Catering/Food & Beverage: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Smart Serve (preferred)

Work Location: In person
