At Stratford Cygnets Preschool, we believe in fostering a nurturing and dynamic environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive. We are currently seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, and creative individuals to join our team as an Early Childhood Educator (ECE), Child and Youth Worker (CYW), or Recreational Staff. If you’re someone who loves engaging with children and making learning fun, we want to hear from you

**What You’ll Do**:

- Provide a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for children.
- Lead and facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and social development.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and team members.
- Follow and implement curriculum to enhance children’s learning experiences.
- Support children’s individual needs and encourage positive behavior.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a well-rounded and supportive educational experience.
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed.

**Qualifications**:

- RECE, CYW (or currently enrolled in a program) is an asset.
- Experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting is a must.
- A strong passion for child development and working in an early childhood setting.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- First Aid and CPR certification is an asset (or willingness to obtain).
- Vulnerable Sector Check required.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- On call
