The role will also be a part of the Niagara Health Engagement Network (NHEN) supporting Patient Partners and the Engagement Portfolio. The role will also collaborate with the Patient Relations team in providing support as needed and assist in reviewing Patient Relations data and trending to support initiatives to improve the patient experience. Minimal entry level Patient Relations case management may be required in support of coverage to the portfolio..
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Bachelor's degree required (in a health related discipline, Business or Industrial Engineering preferred).
- Two years recent clinical experience in an acute care setting and/or in a formal Quality Improvement Role and/or active involvement in leading Quality Improvement initiatives an asset.
- An introductory knowledge of quality improvement methodology (eg. Six Sigma). Or Project Management certificate an asset.
- Current registration with a health professional regulatory body and/or be a member in good standing with a professional association preferred.
Experience with performance measurement and data reporting
- Introductory knowledge of Quality Improvement tools (eg. process mapping/flow diagrams, cause and effect diagrams, pareto charts, creativity methods, affinity diagrams, force field analysis, tree diagram, FMEA, etc.) and the IHI Model for Improvement.
- Must have highly developed and effective customer service skills including: organizational, interpersonal, communication, and effective in working directly with consumers an asset
Proficiency in both official languages (English and French) will be considered an asset.
- Consistent and regular attendance required
