**Wage range**:$18-$22hr + $1.25hr shift premium

**Shift**:Monday-Thursday 10hr shifts 3PM-1:15AM

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
Operation of various CNC mills and lathes
- FANUC-HAAS/Heidenhain/SIEMENS controllers
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings, blueprints
- Machine parts to tight tolerances and verify dimensions of parts using precision measuring instruments
- Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances and complete inspection records as required
- Maintain direct work area and CNC machine for cleanliness
- Assist with 5S and organizational initiatives
- Assist with creation of work instructions for repeat jobs
- Maintain fixture rack organization (labeling, updating fixture spreadsheet)
- Preparing tooling and fixturing for upcoming jobs
- Deburring machined parts for various jobs
- Attend employee meetings and safety talks as required
- Perform other tasks as required

**Requirements**:

- Some experience in CNC machining environment
- Ability to perform physical labour
- Willingness to learn new skills and desire to accommodate requests
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
- Crane experience considered an asset
- Basic understanding of the ISO 9001 quality management system
- Basic understanding of OH&S Legislation and Health & Safety best practices
- Available to work overtime as business demand requires
- Have excellent organizational / time management skills; attention to detail
- Possess basic computer skills
- Microsoft Office experience would be an asset
