Our Systemair facility located in Tillsonburg Ontario is the manufacturing center of commercial air handling units (AHU) for North America.

Our clean, air-conditioned plant along with state-of-the-art equipment **(Prima Power Servo-Electric Press Brakes**, **Shear/Punch Combi w/ fully automated coil and sheet loading and finished part stacking equipment)** and family like atmosphere provides a safe, comfortable and friendly work environment.

We are currently looking for **Metal Fabrication Press Operators** to join our growing team. This is a full-time contract position. Hiring into the day or afternoon shift, no rotation is required.

**Afternoons**: Monday - Thursday - 4:30pm - 3:00am (Premium is applied)

**Pay Scale
- $19.75 Metal Fab General Labour
- Brake Press Operator$23.00**

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate, monitor and manage equipment to ensure quality products and mínimal unplanned downtime
- Perform machinery setup and operation based on the training and documentation provided
- Load and unload material from machinery
- Program parts using CNC software
- Program foam recipes using foam injector and press software
- Report completed manufacturing orders and any non-conforming products in the MRP system
- Maintain proper housekeeping of work area
- Perform various maintenance requirements to both the equipment and the tools such as calibration, specialized cleaning and minor repairs
- Perform foam tank changeovers and empty tank return process
- Report issues to Team Lead and troubleshoot machine issues as they arise
- Assume other related tasks at the request of the Department Manager, Supervisor or Team Lead

**What we are looking for**:

- Experience operating hydraulic or servo-electric press brakes is a definite asset
- Must have good mechanical skills
- Able to use computers proficiently
- Possess a positive attitude
- Able to be coached and must have a willingness to learn
- Communicate clearly and effectively with others
- Able to work proficiently in a team-oriented setting, as well as independently
- Able to read and understand documentation (maintenance manuals, drawings etc.) supplied to them with mínimal additional instructions from a Team Lead, and complete the work as described
- Able to conduct necessary measurement and quality checks as directed
- Punctuality and good attendance are a must
- Able to work overtime as needed
