**Purpose**

NLS has a strong mandate to transform the way that we leverage and use our data. The foundation of our data warehouse has been built and we are now embarking on an exciting effort to turn our data into insights. The Business Intelligence Analyst will capture, review data, and report on any trends and patterns shown using Snowflake, Matillion ETL, Microsoft Power BI, SQL Server, and Microsoft Azure. These insights will support the success and growth of our customers and revolutionize the NLS partnership with them.

**Responsibilities**

**Data Analyst**
- Analyze large amounts of customer data and formulate queries to turn data into insights

**BI Designer / Developer**
- Design and build Matillion ETL components and Power BI reports
- Implement changes and enhancements to our SQL Server Reporting Services platform based on customer requests
- Develop and maintain functional & technical documentation
- Facilitate deployment of changes with disciplined change management processes

**Client Liaison**
- Interface with internal and external clients to determine reporting & insights requirements
- Translate business and client needs into technical specifications
- Facilitate UAT and QA testing

**Required Qualifications**
- College Diploma or Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or related field
- 3+ years of experience in technology, data analytics
- Experience with Snowflake, Matillion ETL, Microsoft Power BI, SQL Server, and Microsoft Azure
- Experience in the Logistics / Supply Chain or Retail industries
- Knowledge of SQL / data warehouse concepts
- Development background
- Solid business / client interface skills
- Excellent verbal & written skills
- Experience in writing functional and technical specifications
