The Business Intelligence Analyst collaborates with the functional business owners and end users to determine needs and develop solutions for big data, advanced analytics, and traditional business intelligence. Participates in new projects, ongoing maintenance, and testing activities to ensure system functionality meets the business community’s needs. Furthermore, the Business Intelligence Analyst will participate in cross-functional projects and act as thought leader on integrating analytical capabilities into business process.

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in planning sessions with key stakeholders to develop use cases and requirements for data driven analytical solutions, and develop standard reports, dashboards, and scorecards to be implemented in traditional BI tools like Power BI.
- Recognizes and validates existing and potential systems opportunities in order to provide advice and guidance.
- Perform or coordinate testing on all solutions (unit testing, systems integration, user acceptance)

What you bring:

- Completion of a degree in Computer Science or a related discipline - or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent
- 3-5 years of related work experience with a background in business analysis of big data and traditional business intelligence solutions
- 1-2 years working on large scale IT deployments
- Critical thinking, superior verbal, written, analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills are required
- Proven strong customer focus
- Effective and clear communication skills with customers
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently with shifting priorities
