Stratford, Canada Magest Building Systems Ltd. Full time

Magest Building Systems is hiring We are currently seeking a Production Supervisor for our structural steel wall panel and truss assembly plant. Magest is locally owned and operated with strong ties to Stratford and surrounding communities. We are gearing up to grow the business and we want you to be part of that growth and success.

The Production Supervisor will have 3+ years experience in a similar role.

**Responsibilities**
- Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality,
- Comply with all company Health & Safety policies and procedures,
- Comply with all other company policies and procedures,
- Follow directions and work with mínimal supervision,
- Display a positive attitude, willingness to learn and an ability to work with others in a team environment.

**Duties**
- Responsible for coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; conducting training.
- Work closely with the Plant Manager and other shop personnel to communicate production scheduling requirements and output goals
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by ensuring that safety practices, systems, policies and procedures are followed at all times
- With support of HR, proactively manage any employee complaints, performance concerns or accidents/safety issues, including investigations and compiling relevant documentation or paper work, and corrective action
- Implementing enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
- Completes operations by developing schedules; assigning and monitoring work; gathering resources; implementing productivity standards; resolving operations problems; maintaining reference manuals; implementing new procedures.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience (min. 3 years) as Production Supervisor or similar role
- Proven success in supervision, conflict resolution, disciplining, managing processes, process improvement and production planning
- Proficient computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to foster teamwork and self-development while giving feedback
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
