Job Type**:Full-time**, Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

**Salary**: Starting at $50,000 depending on experience

We are seeking a passionate, driven, and hardworking **Robotic Welding Supervisor.**

As a **Robotic Welding Supervisor** at Accumetal Manufacturing, you will manage the Robotic Welding Department and supervise robotic welding staff, with the goal of ensuring production timelines and quality to meet customer expectations. **What you will do**:

- Work collaboratively as part of the management team to coordinate the efficient and timely completion of jobs
- Seek to optimize safety and efficiency in production through continual evaluation of processes
- Supervise welders to ensure that work is being done in accordance with applicable weld standards
- Plan and coordinate work activities according to production schedule, ensuring that customer and shipping deadlines are met
- Provide support, direction, and supervision to all staff under charge and address/resolve any staffing related issues or concerns on all shifts (occasional telephone support during night shifts)
- Provide hazard information, proper safety equipment and training to all workers
- Responsible for recruitment, selection, training, and termination of staff
- Ensure all employee documents are up to date as required
- Complete performance reviews and monitor and manage performance gaps
- Facilitate feedback from shop floor to engineering department to optimize efficiency and production quality
- Sign off on First Article Inspections, verifying full compliance with specifications
- Participate in and enforce all aspects of health and safety as required by the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Ensure conformance to ISO standards
- Complete ECN report and rework order for any non-conforming production pieces, as well as completing corrective/preventative actins as established by our Quality System
- Responsible for ensuring functioning and maintenance of all departmental equipment
- Track and document all jobs in JobBoss
- Liaise with vendors for obtaining required supplies or parts
- Monitor job estimates to ensure employees are meeting company and customer objectives
- Participate in Process Improvement meetings to build on company and customer objectives
- Responsible for robotic weld programming
- Other duties as assigned

**What you will need to succeed**:

- Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate preferred but not required
- Ability to interpret and understand technical drawings
- Ability to use basic measuring devices (square, calipers, verniers, measuring tape)
- Forklift certified (or capacity to operate a forklift), preferred but not required

**Required Education and Experience**
- Diploma in Robotic Welding Engineering or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience in metal fabrication/welding
- Experience in offline programming using Octopuz software, preferred but not required
