AltaGas - LMS Coordinator

We are hiring an LMS Coordinator to join the Business and Project Services team that centrally manages the learning management system that supports the training needs of internal learning groups. The incumbent will assist in creating, managing and deploying technical training programs. Training will include distance, in-person, and web-based training programs and courses.

Close partnerships with Midstream Operations training teams will be essential to ensure the success of projects and initiatives.

You Will:- Support the organization’s usage of the LMS through training and system resolution issues- Organize, create, update, and maintain training content by coordinating with Subject Matter Experts or business partners- Partner with internal stakeholders regarding instructional design- Maintain the LMS to ensure the LMS and training records are kept up to date- Administer reports, KPIs, and dashboards, as required, to track status and results- Maintain the corporate training calendar, schedule sessions, and marketing available training opportunities to employees- Assess the effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills levels.- Design, prepare, and procure educational aids and materials- Organize, develop, and/or source training content to meet specific training needs and address identified overall skills gaps- Identify opportunities and provide recommendations on ways to improve the learning experience

You Have:
- Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree in Business or Education, or equivalent combination of education and experience- 2 - 4 Years of experience in a learning administration or project coordination role or equivalent- Learning Management Systems experience is preferred- Experience in Oil and Gas and Asset Management- Ability to collaborate and interact with various internal and external stakeholders, at all levels of the organization- Technical aptitude using software programs, including, but not limited to, Microsoft O365 and content authoring tools- Maintains composure under pressure working under pressure in a rapidly changing environment- Ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities; demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, and be accountable- Great attention to detail, exceptional communication and grammar skills- Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve and make sound decisions.
