AltaGas - Talent Acquisition & People Services Coordinator

How'll You'll Make an Impact

  • Ensure every candidate and hiring leader experiences a seamless, professional, and timely recruitment journey

  • Strengthen the accuracy of our HR data, systems, and documentation — supporting high‑quality decision‑making and compliance

  • Keep complex scheduling, workflows, and multi‑team processes running smoothly, even during peak volume periods

  • Contribute to the evolution of our Talent Acquisition and People Services processes, templates, and tools

How You'll Spend Your Day

  • Coordinate multi‑stakeholder, enterprise‑wide interview scheduling across functions, business units, and time zones

  • Initiate, track, and troubleshoot background checks and pre‑employment verifications

  • Manage administrative workflows from offer acceptance to Day 1 readiness — ensuring data, documentation, and approvals are complete and accurate

  • Maintain and enhance templates, correspondence, and process documentation in collaboration with HR partners

  • Act as a primary point of contact for candidates across the recruitment lifecycle, providing clear communication, timely updates, and proactive support

  • Partner closely with Talent Acquisition to resolve or escalate candidate issues quickly and professionally

  • Deliver a consistent, high‑touch experience from initial contact through onboarding

  • Validate offer details and reconcile Workday data to support audit and compliance requirements

  • Review system‑generated reports and transactions to identify, correct, and escalate data inconsistencies

  • Liaise with Talent Acquisition and People Services to anticipate bottlenecks and ensure seamless handoffs

  • Support recurring programs, initiatives, and cross‑functional administrative needs that strengthen overall HR service delivery

What You Bring

  • 1–2 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, or a coordination‑driven professional environment requiring accuracy, organization, and multi‑stakeholder communication

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex scheduling, competing priorities, and high‑volume workflows with professionalism and precision

  • Experience working with enterprise HRIS systems; Workday preferred

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders across all levels

  • High attention to detail, with the ability to identify data inconsistencies, follow structured processes, and maintain accuracy across multiple systems

  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and navigate ambiguity

  • Demonstrated discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information
