Compliance Coordinator

The **Compliance Co-ordinator**ensures the integrity and reputation of the College by assisting in the development and implementation of policies, conducting compliance reviews, and maintaining accurate reports to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. This position plays a key role in helping the institution stay compliant with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
**Responsibilities**
- Review of all College Contracts in preparation for Directors signature
- Co-ordinate insurance program throughout the year as well as lead the completion of the annual insurance program renewal
- Provide support regarding review and development of College waivers
- Board and related committee work including organizing meetings in compliance with our by-laws and operational needs; co-ordinate required policy review with Head of College/Director of Finance annually; maintain Board / Committee drives and records
- Co-ordinate and file mandatory Notice to Operate Independent School (NOI) with the Ontario Ministry of Education
- Co-ordinate approval of all new enrolment contracts on behalf of the DOF including establishing credit worthiness through completion and evaluation of credit checks
- Ensure bank compliance and support management of institutional commercial banking relationship
- Monthly completion of College-wide compliance control worksheet ensuring appropriate follow up with relevant parties to complete tasks
- Work with management and staff to identify potential areas of regulatory risk and provide recommendations for mitigation
- Stay informed of changes in relevant laws, regulations and policies that may impact the College.
- Administratively coordinate all aspects of College Bursary program
- Manage administrative aspects of the corporate credit card program
- Manage Business office resource boards from both an internal and external perspective
- Administrative support to the Head of College and all Board related matters
- Organize minute takers for various boards
- Provide general administrative support to the Director of Finance and office including data entry, filing and document management
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff or department
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings or appointments for the Head & Finance team
**Qualifications**
- College diploma in a related discipline
- 3-5 years of experience supporting the implementation of compliance policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Previous experience in compliance, administrative support or customer service is a plus
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance processes
- Extensive knowledge of regulatory compliance regarding financial aid services is preferred
**Salary Range: Band 5: $49,906 to $74,860**
