**Pastry Chef Assistant**

We are a French macaron and organic loose-leaf tea boutique located in the heart of Calgary’s bustling 16th Avenue SW retail district. At Ollia, we handcraft our macarons and a variety of other treats on-site, and we’re looking for a **Pastry Chef Assistant** to join our growing team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support daily production of macarons (shells, fillings) and other pastries, cakes, and seasonal treats.
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness, safety, and organization at all times.
- Maintain Ollia’s high product standards and consistency.
- Teach and assist with baking classes for our customers.
- Collaborate with the front-of-store team when needed (customer service, opening/closing duties, barista tasks).
- Contribute ideas and assist in creating new recipes and seasonal collections.
- Help fulfill custom and special orders with precision and creativity.

**Qualifications**
- Passionate about baking and excited to thrive in a **fast-paced kitchen environment**.
- Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail, even under pressure.
- Reliable, punctual, and organized with excellent time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a welcoming presence (especially when teaching classes).
- Must be legally able to work in Canada (Canadian resident or valid work visa).
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

**Job Details**
- **Type**: Full-time, starting September 2025
- **Compensation**: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour (based on experience)
