**Main tasks and responsibilities**
- Support all accounting functions for our Canadian and U.S operations;
- Sort & match supplier invoices with purchase orders and packing slips and enter in A/P;
- Esure vendor file maintenance; ensure payments are up to date & resolve any invoicing or payment issues;
- Effectively initiate and verify outgoing domestic and international wire transfers;
- Ensure accurate data entry of all invoices in A/R, review and validate daily billed amounts;
- Respond to invoice-related enquiries and analyze accounts and reconciliation;
- Validate timesheets and perform the full canadian payroll cycle (currently 70 employees);
- Perform year-end tasks (issuing tax slips, summaries, etc.);
- Act as a resource person for managers and/or employees for any questions related to pay;
- Participate in the preparation of year-end audit files and collaborate in external, internal, and governmental audits.
**Knowledge and skills required**
- Post-secondary education degree (i.e. DEC, DCS) with at least two years’ experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- 2-3 years of experience managing full Canadian payroll cycle.
- Member of the Canadian Payroll Association (CPA), an asset
- Excellent accounting skills and knowledge of various accounting software;
- Knowledge of various online banking and payroll client platforms a major asset;
- Fully bilingual (French and English), oral and written
- Able to prioritize and manage workload demands, deadlines, and multiple tasks, as required, while working with minimum supervision.
