**Bilingual Accounting supervisor**

MVP Group is dedicated to being a leader in the food service industry while maintaining the highest level of customer service. MVP Group’s products can be found in every facet of the food service industry, hotels, restaurant, schools, government institutions, churches, pubs, and golf courses. Our products are currently being used in Subway restaurants worldwide, Burger King, as well as Marriott and Best Western Hotels to name a few.

MVP Group is looking for a team player to join our team in our Montreal office. We need an organized individual who can provide accounting support by ensuring the efficient running of the from beginning to end.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations
- Participate in regular tax audits and payroll
- Prepare budgeting reports and forecast revenues
- Manage month-end and year-end closing
- Monitor the daily performance of the accounting department
- Organize financial data into useable information and maintain updated records
- Track the progress of financial and accounting objectives
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing any audit findings.
- Establish accounting policies and procedures, aligned with company’s targets
- Ensure compliance with the law
- Provided general support to another Department if needed.

**Your Skills and Abilities**:

- 3+ years’ work experience as an Accounting Supervisor
- Proficiency with SAGE, MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
- Strong computer skills, MS Excel in particular (managing spreadsheets, creating charts and using advanced formulas)
- Ability to keep company and partner confidences
- Excellent English and French language skills, both written and verbal.

**Additional Details**:

- 37.5 hours per week (8:30am-5:00pm). Monday to Friday. Day shift.
- Full Benefits Package after 3 months

- Salary: 60,000$ to 65,000$ based on experience
