Assist students with their understanding of academic concepts while developing your 1:1 teaching skills at a time that works for you.

**What We Do**:
S.M.A.R.T. Tutors provide private, in-home tutoring services to elementary and high school students. Tutors work with the same families on a consistent weekly basis. Sessions are 50-minutes long and S.M.A.R.T. Tutors set their own schedules.

**How It Works**:
S.M.A.R.T. Tutoring sessions are customized to the student's learning needs. Tutors are matched to students based on their teaching qualifications, location, and availability.

This is an ideal position for you, if you are comfortable tutoring in one or more of the following:

- Primary/ Junior Divisions
- Intermediate Mathematics
- Intermediate English
- Intermediate Science
- Senior Mathematics (Advanced Functions, Calculus, Data Management)
- Senior English
- Senior Science (Chemistry, Physics, Biology)

S.M.A.R.T. Tutors work with student resources, draw from their own teaching materials, and access our collection of shared tutoring resources. S.M.A.R.T. Tutors are encouraged to collaborate in our private, online forum as needed.

- New Tecumseth (Tottenham, Aliston, Beeton)
- Innisfil (Alcona, Belle Ewart, Chuchhill, Lefroy)
- Barrie SW/ Essa (Angus, Borden, Thornton)
- Barrie SE/ Stroud

**Compensation**

It is important to us that S.M.A.R.T. Tutors receive a competitive rate that reflects today’s cost of living. Our in-home tutors are paid $25 - $30 per 50-minute session.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 20 per week
