Are you a certified teacher or teacher candidate looking for rewarding, flexible part-time work in Bradford, Ontario? S.M.A.R.T. Tutoring and Test Preparation Services is expanding and seeking experienced educators to provide in-home, 1:1 tutoring for elementary students.

Our goal is to help students gain confidence, strengthen core academic skills, and enjoy learning again, all while giving teachers meaningful, flexible work close to home.

About the Tutoring Position

As a Private Tutor in Bradford, you'll work directly with students in Grades 1–8, focusing on the Ontario Curriculum for Reading, Writing, and Math. You'll plan lessons that meet each child's learning goals using our shared planning tools and resources.

Tutors typically work between 4:00–8:30 PM on weekdays, committing to a minimum of 4 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education (completed or in progress)
• Strong understanding of the Ontario Curriculum
• OCT Certification or Transitional Certificate preferred
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Screening required upon hire
• Reliable transportation for local in-home sessions
• Additional teaching or special education qualifications are an asset
