**SUMMARY**:Ready English Accessible for Caregivers at Home (REACH) is a Service Delivery Improvement project funded by IRCC to develop and pilot a flexible, online language training model targeted to newcomer women caring for children at home. MOSAIC of BC will lead this project and Achev will assist in the development of the curriculum, utilize our experience in ECE to support development of the childcare portion of the project and administer and staff the pilot cohorts within the Ontario region. The Project Manager will manage execution of Achev’s contributions to t he REACH project. The work may be completed outside of regular business hours.
**DUTIES &**
**RESPONSIBILITIES
- Comply with the provisions of Achev’s contract with MOSAIC
- Act as Achev’s primary point of contact with MOSAIC and REACH partners
- Recruit project staff, procure subcontractors, and manage fulfilment of their commitments and deliverables
- Manage project budget, monitor cash flow, forecast costs and review financial claims
- Review, code, and approve invoices and expense claims
- Coordinate activities ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
- Lead preparation and submission of project-related reports to MOSAIC as per agreement
- Ensure invoices and supporting documentation are submitted to MOSAIC as per the agreement
- Provide updates on project status to the Manager, Distance Education
- Track time and submit casual hours for project staff according to the payroll schedule
- Review the work of project staff and provide feedback
- Provide project staff with access to tools and resources as appropriate
- Perform other related duties as required
**QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post Secondary Degree in relevant area including TESL Certification
- 2+ years experience coordinating training & development projects
- Demonstrated ability to lead virtual teams
- Strong budgeting skills and experience
- Proficient in MS Office suite
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Able to communicate professionally and facilitate meetings with varied stakeholders including contractors, project partners, and staff.
- Strong understanding of the LINC Home Study program
- Number of hours of work per week: Approximately 9 hours per week.
