GeoSpectrum is growing and has a new career opportunity for a Shipping Clerk to join our Compliance and Assets team

As the Shipping Clerk, you will ensure our products reach customers accurately, on time, and in full compliance with company policies and industry regulations. You'll take ownership of preparing shipments, maintaining precise documentation, and upholding the highest standards of accuracy and compliance throughout the shipping process. Your attention to detail will keep our shipping operations running smoothly.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare all necessary documentation for outgoing shipments.
- Coordinate with carriers and schedule pickups.
- Inspect outgoing shipments to ensure they are secure and properly labelled.
- Package shipments as required to ensure safe and compliant delivery.
- Operate a forklift as needed to move or load shipments, following all safety protocols
- Ensure that all shipments comply with company policies and regulations, including safety and legal requirements.
- Track shipments and resolve any issues that arise.
- Maintain the company Shipping Log.

**Qualifications**
- High School Diploma /GED Equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Shipper, with a focus on international shipments.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skill in completing international shipping documentation and government export regulations.
- Minimum of 1 year forklift experience.
- Dangerous Goods certificate, an asset.
- Proficiency with various shipping vendor software, MS Office Suite.
- Advanced skills using Microsoft office suite.
- Agile physical mobility.
