Atlantic Acura is a family owned and operated luxury automotive dealership in Halifax, NS. We take pride in our concierge level of client service, and are seeking a **Pre Owned Sales Manager** to join our team of dedicated professionals.

As a leader of the sales team, the Pre Owned Sales Manager is a driving force behind the dealership's sales experiences. The Pre Owned Sales Manager is dedicated to motivating the sales team in order to achieve monthly targets and ensuring that all members of the team have the training and resources necessary to be successful in their careers. As a team player, the Sales Manager strives to develop collaborative relationships throughout the dealership, and is focused on upholding our dealership's values and standards to create an unparalleled client experience.

Responsibilities of the Role

- Lead and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets and dealership goals.
- Train, motivate, and mentor sales staff to improve performance and professional development.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue, market share, and customer retention.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to the General Manager.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining a client-centric sales approach.
- Oversee the sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to closing sales and follow-up.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure the optimal presentation of vehicles on the lot.
- Handle escalated client concerns, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolutions.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, the manufacturer, and wholesale representatives.
- Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements for the Role

- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; A degree in a related field is considered an asset, but not a requirement.
- Proven experience in automotive sales management, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving performance.
- Strong knowledge of automotive sales processes, financing options, and dealership operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze and interpret sales data and financial reports.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
